Also known as: Sedge , St. John’s Wort
Description:
The most important active substance in hypericum is hypericin, which is found throughout the plant, but in a higher concentration on its flowering peaks.
It also contains hypericin, pseudo-hypericin and hyperphorin
We produce St. John’s wort oil by immersing the plant in extra virgin olive oil (cold- pressed) and holding it for a long time away from sun exposure and keeping it at temperatures below 27 ° C.
This process, although time-consuming, ensures that the olive oil is not oxidized and that the final product is not altered by the ultraviolet radiation of the sun and high temperatures.
So the product we receive is of excellent quality.
